Who we are

Sharp Finish Cleaning is a sole trader business owned by Marjorie Pabi Sedico, ABN 40 133 952 318, based in Raymond Terrace NSW 2324. We provide residential cleaning services across the Hunter region of New South Wales.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sharp Finish Cleaning.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote and carry out cleaning work. That is:

• Contact details — your name, mobile number, email address and the suburb of the property.
• Property details — the address of the job once it is booked, plus the size, condition, access arrangements and anything else you tell us that affects the work.
• Photographs you send us — images of the property you provide so we can quote accurately.
• Job records — quotes, invoices, payment records, notes about the work, and photographs we take on site as a record of the condition of the property before and after a job.
• Correspondence — the messages, texts and emails you exchange with us.

We do not ask for and do not want your bank login details, passwords, credit card numbers, identity documents or government identifiers. Please do not send them to us.

How we collect it

Directly from you — through the quote form on this website, by phone, by text, by email, or in person at the property. If a managing agent or landlord contacts us on your behalf, we may receive your details from them.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

• To prepare a quote and answer your questions.
• To schedule and carry out the cleaning work.
• To contact you about the job — confirmations, access, delays, completion.
• To issue invoices and keep proper financial records.
• To resolve a problem if one comes up, including responding to a re-clean request or an agent’s report after an inspection.
• To meet our record-keeping obligations, including tax records.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Photographs

Photographs you send us are used to quote your job. Photographs we take on site are used as a record of the work — for example to show the condition of an area before we started, or to demonstrate what was completed if a question is raised later.

We will not publish any photograph of your property on our website, on social media or in any advertising without asking you first and getting your agreement in writing. If we ever do use a job photo with your permission, we remove or avoid anything that identifies you or the property — house numbers, street signs, mail, personal documents, family photographs and personal possessions.

Who we share information with

We only share your information where it is necessary:

• With your managing agent or landlord, where you have asked us to deal with them about your job, or where we are confirming what was cleaned.
• With a specialist we refer you to — for example a carpet cleaner or pest controller — but only with your say-so, and only the detail they need.
• With service providers we use to run the business, such as our website host and our email and accounting providers.
• Where the law requires it.

Where your information is stored

Quote requests submitted through this website are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts the site. Email is handled by Google Workspace. Job and financial records are kept in our own business records. Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia.

This website

This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media trackers. The fonts are served from this website rather than from a third party, so simply reading a page does not send your details anywhere else.

We do not currently run any website analytics. If we switch analytics on in future, we will update this policy and it will be limited to understanding how the site is used — never to identifying individual visitors.

The quote form includes a hidden anti-spam field. It is never shown to you and is only there to catch automated submissions.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Records of completed jobs, including invoices, are kept for at least five years because Australian tax law requires it. Job photographs are kept for as long as they might reasonably be needed to deal with a question about the work, and then deleted.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your information — devices are password protected, accounts use strong passwords, and access is limited to Marjorie Pabi Sedico and Johannes de Wet. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to us over the internet, but we treat your details carefully.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@sharpfinishcleaning.com.au or call 0434 740 195 and we will sort it out. We do not charge for this.

You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will — other than where we need to reach you about a job already under way, or about an invoice.

If you are not happy

Contact us first and tell us what went wrong. We would much rather fix it directly. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. This policy applies to https://sharpfinishcleaning.com.au and to the services we provide.
